'My friends and i (30 of us ) had a brilliant stay at the Ace Hotel. The staff were lovely,the place was really central and above all really really clean. I would not hesitate to go back and will recomend it to all my friends.'

'Ace was a lovely place to stay! It was clean, new and had wonderful views of York from our dorm. It was really close to the train station and had some great pubs close by. A little crowded with school kids and not so much fun, but the quality of the place definitely made up for it! Breakfast could be extended a little longer tho... you have to be an early riser to catch it.'

'The staff was very nice. Hostel had everything you would want: clean rooms and showers, internet, bar, and social areas. Location was pretty good. It takes about five minutes to walk there from the train station and a couple minutes to walk from the hostel to the city centre.'

'Hostel in a perfect location, within less than 10 minutes to the centre of the city and pretty close to bars and nightclubs (some in the same street). Shower really good and clean. Excellent breakfast with variety of flakes, toast, croissant, jams, juice. Will defo indicate to anyone who wants to have a nice time in York.'

'Exquisite building with a lot of history. Staff were very helpful and approachable. Breakfast in the morning was a bonus. Easy walking distance to all the attractions. Would definitely stay here again if I were to revisit.')
