- Check in: 2pm. Check out: 10am
- Age restrictions: Under 16's must be accompanied by adults & must not share with other adult guests. You must be 18 to go into the bar after 8pm.
- 24 hr reception: Don't hesitate to ask the staff if you require any info.
- 24hr security: electronic key cards, CCTV, 24 hr porter.
- No curfew/lockout: Allowing you to enjoy the best of York nightlife!
- Membership: We are an independent hostel so no membership is required.
- Plentiful shower facilities: All rooms en suite(apart from the 4 bed dorm) as well as communal bathrooms on 2nd & 3rd floor.
- Same sex room: 10 bed female only dorm (subject to availability)
- Families welcome: Must take a private room to themselves under 16s not to share with other adult guests.
- En-suite bathrooms: Every room is en suite apart from the 4 bed dorm
- No smoking: Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside the building, Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor basement courtyard.
- Bed linen included: Clean, fresh sheets provided for your ease and comfort.
- Towel hire: £1.00 p/ towel (deposit of £5.00 required)
- Laundry facilities: Coin operated washing & drying machines
- Luggage: Locked luggage store & small lockers provided, underbed lockers in all dorms.
- Social events: New events coming soon, such as pool night, meal & drinks promotions, table tennis tournaments & spooky séance nights!
- Breakfast: Free Continental Breakfast – Hot & cold drinks/cereal, croissants, toast, fresh fruit and jams.
- Food: Fresh paninis, sandwiches, nachos & snacks available in the bar 24 hours. Packed lunches & evening meals can be booked for groups of 10 or more. Vending machine available 24 hours for chocolate, crisps & drinks.
- Guest kitchen: Now open 24 hours, with cookers, fridges, microwaves, preparation surfaces, all pots & pans and food storage.
- Plenty of room at the inn: privates: 1 x double, 1 x family, 1 x twin, 3 x twin bunk; dorms: 1 x 3, 1 x 4, 5 x 6, 1 x 7, 3 x 8, 4 x 10, 1 x 14 beds (all rooms are en suite apart from 4 bed dorm).
- Bar: Opens 7.30am – midnight 7 days per week. (Drinks and snacks available 24 hours for guests)
- Telephone: fax, printing and payphone facilities
- Courtyard: open 24 hours (smoking allowed)
- Bicycles: Secure bicycle storage possible for up to 20 bikes.
